Tv tuner pc

hey guys i am really confused i have a pc and a diretv dvr is there a way i can connect the dvr to pc so i can watch on my monitor, what tv tuner or anything i need a link would be nice and anything i should know?

If the dvr hooks up by only antenna, then you might be able to. All you would have to do is get a tv tuner (USB, PCI, or PCI-e x1?).
