Why are files write protected

we believe that write protected files are corrupting this computor, should I delete them and how do I delete the files

  1. In no way you can blame files to be corrupting the system for being read-only alone.

    If your computer is suffering from data corrupting, try scanning for viruses, for disk errors (namely, run scandisk) and even replace your hard disk if needed.

    If you are really sure you want to delete the files, you can use applications such as Killbox.
