I am running Windows XP on a laptop (IBM Thinkpad). I created two
hardware profiles...one for docked operation and one for un-docked. Actually
I am using a port replicator.

Anyway, when I use the port replicator I want to disable the sound from
the laptop speakers and use the speakers on my desktop. What is currently
happening is that the sound comes from both the laptop and the desktop
speakers...the laptop speakers are "tinny" sounding.

Does anyone know if there is a way to mute the laptop speakers but still
have the sound through the port replicator to the desktop speakers?

thanks,
Brian
