Procci: Q6600
Mobo: Intel965RY
Ram:2GB 800mhz
HDD: 160+250 GB
Monitor: Dell 22" HDMI,DVI,VGA
PSU: Coolermaster Extreme Power Plus 500W
Graphics Card: Palit 4850 Sonic

Well I was running same card for 4-5 months ... but one day there was no display , i thought there is some prob with card so gave it to service center ... back from service center , there was same problem ; No display...

So m not getting whether its problen with monitor DVI port or PCIe slot of mobo isnt working ...

just go back to the previous catalyst driver and see if it still working....

Just checking the obvious, you have turned the onboard graphics off and set the BIOS to boot from PCIe?

catalyst driver is not getting installed, catalyst is not detecting the card...

I do have turned off onboard graphics n changed it to PCIe...

One weird thing happned just now, monitor was going to power save mode @ time of booting , as if its not getting signal from onboard graphics , i guess there is problem with monitor ports too...

Hmm, I would be inclined to return to that service centre with violence aforethought.

I would have done that but m still not clear abt whether problem is with PCIe slot or monitor ports or gfx card ... i sense multiple problems ... :(
