Damaged memory? On bootup my computer used to say "2048MB Installed Memory: 2048MB OK"
Now it says "1920MB OK", and now my computer freezes whenever I press any buttons at the "Start Windows Normally" screen.

Could it be bad memory causing the issue of my computer not booting up?

If you have on-board graphics, that would explain the missing 128Mb.
If this is true, and you're not using it, turn it off in the BIOS.

It could be related, but on-board GPU came to mind because 2048-1920 is 128, which is a common amount of RAM to be allocated to internal graphics.

Sounds like you've got a serious issue there.
