Cooler for Asus P8P67 Evo

I'm planning to OC my 2500K once I get my new build in order, but I'm not sure if the coolers would fit on my ASUS P8P67 Evo.

I'll have a 2x2gb set of G.Skill Ripjaws on the board as well.

I'm considering the CM Hyper 212+ as well as the CM V6GT.

However I'm pretty confident that the V6GT won't fit..unless someone else can confirm that it does.

If there's another cooler anyone would recommend that'd be great .
Or if I should just stick with the one I get with my CPU, let me know.

unless you're overclocking you don't really need a new cooler
the hyper 212+ is a great choice the v6gt is exceptionally loud but it's up there with the top coolers

^ +1 the 212+ and the V6 are good. The 2500K does not run very hot so the 212+ should be more than enough for all but extreme overclocks

With the Ram you're using i'd probaby go with the Prolimatech Armageddon just incase you fill up all 4 ram slots. Prolimatech Armageddon is selling for $49.99 at SVC.com...Really good deal imo...you can install 2 140mm fans in a push pull setup without it hitting the ram heatsinks...Plus it'll look sexy with 2 Gelid UV blue 140mm fans with your Asus P67 Evo motherboard..it'll match so nice!

if you didn't buy the ram yet get the blue gskill ram...it'll match perfect with the Prolimatech Armageddon, Asus p67 evo and the 140mm Gelid fans...

Np...i'll show pictures of it when im done..Give me about a month or so to finish the build..Oh by the way what case are you using? I'm using the Lian-li 7fnw mid tower case. Just make sure it'll fit your case but i don't think it'll be a problem honestly since it'll fit in mine. The width of my case is 8.26 inches and that heatsink is about 6 and half inches probably almost 7 inches with the fans installed.

V6 GT is L-O-U-D .....

The Kuhler 620 eliminates any RAM interference concerns but I wouldn't worry about it as those modules appear to be less than 40mm
