Xp install multipass f60

Canon setup instructions get me to the install program but XP hardware wizard can't find the hook to the driver files.

XP wizard may be looking for a .inf but CD contains only .ini's ??

Solved: DL'ed Canon's XP2 Update s'ware.

From Safe Mode E:XP OS partition installed OEM Mo Board Disk USB drivers, then went thru the drill from Canon's Install Disk to get New Hardware Found Wiz.

Chose Browse to folder C:\Temp\F60-F80\MPSuite\USBDrv\Win2KXP where Canon unpacked it's install folders & presto ... Canon Install finished it up.

Then ran the XP2 Update s'ware.

The hangup was that M$'s Hardware Wizard couldn't find the driver from the top of Canon's nested folders.
