Hello,
I had bought an Asus M4A79 Deluxe motherboard since a month ago.
It works very well, it pass Prime95 for 12 hours without errors and also I can play for hours without any issue.
The problem is the following: When I insert a pendrive into front USB port and then I copy the content to the HDD, PC crash and then restart due to a BSOD. The problem occurs randomly as many times I can copy pendrive's files without problems. Some times, a BSOD happen. The BSOD is always the same. I uninstalled AMD USB drivers but the problem persist.
I underclocked the PC to discard and OC issue and the problem persist. I also ran a memory test and no errors.
I'm using M4A79 Deluxe with latest BIOS, 4X1 GB DDR2 Kingston, AMD Phenom 9950, Cooler Master Real Power Pro 550w...
Is the motherboard or the pendrive?

Hi,
I discovered that rear USB ports (6) doesn't produce BSOD. These six ports uses a different USB controller than those connected to motherboard (i.e front USB ports).
I bought an extension USB cable that is connected to one rear port so I don't need to move case. That's the solution I found. I can change motherboard, but the use I need from USB is minimal (printer, mouse and one pendrive) so 6 working port is enough for me. Moreover others aspect of the motherboard are OK (stability).
