HI friends . can i play the heavy games always with max overclock from amd overdrive and when i dont play i set it to default ??

u dont have to set your 6850 to default it automatically runs at a much slower core speed and memory freq when not under load. turn it up and leave it up. done and done.

Correct, you can keep it maxed, when it's idle it clocks way down.

For instance I'm running my HD5850 at 775mhz/1125mhz and when it's idle like now it's showing 157mhz/300mhz.

Are you reading the responses? Yes, but it slows down during idling. It goes up to whatever you set your CCC settings to when in 3D mode. This is done to lower power consumption.

haha yea just keep it maxed its gonna be perfect CCC / Catalyst wont let you burn the card
