I'm not sure if these are good idle temps...

First off, I have an unlocked AMD Phenom 555 (all cores unlocked). I have just installed a Cooler Master Hyper TX3 with some Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste. According to Asus's PC Probe 2 my idle temps read 36c and load temps (while playing the Shogun 2 demo) 46c-47c. I was wondering, should the idle temps be lower?

Yep, those are good temps. Also, have you run prime95 to make sure that the unlocked cores are stable?

Everything is stable. Temps are around 34c-35c idle and 44c-46c load. Strange that even at 35c idle the fan speed does not want to go under 2100 RPM.

if want low set auto calibrate you fan speed in bios.
