Is there any software out there like traceroute that shows every applicance that a packet passes through? Traceroute will show every router an icmp packet passes through, what I am looking for is software that show EVERY appliance a packet travels through incluiding switches, hubs, etc...not just routers. I figured I would have heard of one by now and I can't find anything on google so I figured I would ask here as a last resort.
