Xp windows media player sees DVD but no video

My PC has XP and the win media player will recognize a DVD and plays the audio but no video. I can play the DVD audio and video on another player on this PC. What to do?

Do you have codecs installed? At least the k-lite codec pack...
Or do an update of Windows media player...
