Okay I have a pretty easy question, for the techies out there.

I have a Thomson router with a built in modem. I also have a WRT300n Linksys router. The Thomson device is a G router but the firmware on it is pretty old and I want to use the N router. Since the Thomson is the gateway for the internet connection, is there a way to stack the Linksys router under the Thomson, having the Thomson run as a modem only and have the N broadcast?

Thomson router: TWG850

Linksys router: WRT300n

Thanks for any help.

You could disable the wireless in the modem.
Then disable the router (turn off NAT) in the WRT300N.
Connect the modem to a LAN port on the WRT300N.

I have done this in my WRT150N because I use a FVS338 on my internet connection.

Ahh shoot, thanks for the reply, it sounds like thats the solution, but when I went to connect it up, I realized the adapter on the WRT300n can only go max 120V, and I'm overseas for the time being, so can't even do it. Thanks though!!
