I want to know if this is a decent Graphics card for a Dell studio Slim. I mean is it better than the x4500HD that I have, and can my computer handle it. I know I have a PCI x16 slot open, and I know that this can be a low-profile card:

EVGA 9400GT

That card's usefulness doesn't get much better than sending a signal to the monitor....what do you want to do with the card....you need to get a hell of a lot more specific

Sorry, I forgot.

Core 2 Quad Q8300
6GB DDR2
1920x1080
I don't know about the PSU

I don't play many games, mostly online games (i.e. Quake Live) and some older games like Need For Speed Carbon.
I do some HD video creation and watching for TV shows online.

Would it be better than the x4500HD for this stuff?

_____________

I want to stay under $120 or so, and it must be low profile.

You have a 250w PSU so your choices are very limited. My suggestion would be the HD 4650 low profile version. That is considered to be a value gaming card and is more powerful than the 9400GT.

Is this one good: Sapphire

If I went with that one, I should be good to go. I used a PSU calculator for my system specs including that card, and I got 219 Watts.
