hi guys, i am looking here for a friendly suggestion. I am planning to buy a gts250 512 mb in near future. right now i have a 350 watt not branded supply (which is running my 8600gt). i know that will not be enough for the new card so i have to buy a new one. i have a limmited budget for the new psu. please tell me which supply will be working better with the new gts250.?
A cooler master 500 watt extreme power supply

or

A non-branded 750 watt supply.

the second one has half the price of the cooler master supply. i would loove to go with non-branded one if it works fine so that i save some money.

my other specs:-
e4500 core 2 duo @ 2.54 (920 fsb)
1GB x 2 corsair 800mhz extreme gaming memory xms2 (@920 mhz)
Asus p5k-vm (g33) mobo
DVD rw
250 gb 7200 rpm hdd.

A non-branded 750 watt unit that costs half the price of a low quality 500 watt branded unit, just think about it.

Cooler Master hands down.

I'd also recommend Antec Earthwatts or Seasonic.

Hmmm, manure, or poop, which one.........
Sadly, the Coolermaster is probably the better of those two. Hopefully you will be able to find a better choice. Antec, Corsair, PC Power & Cooling, Seasonic, and Enermax are all good.
A PSU with Active PFC will have a more current design than one without it. Get one that is 80+ certified if possible.
