I am building a gaming computer because now i have a laptop. I am buying a new case, psu, hard drive, cpu, and eventually a gpu after i sell my current one. I am keeping my mother board, ram, and cd drive. I was wondering if i should buy a large hard drive with decent read/write speed, or an average size hard drive that has a fast read/write speed. I was looking at a large hard drive with a decent read/write speed http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136513 for what seems like a reasonable price. Could someone tell me if this would be a good hard drive for a gaming pc?

Do not use green power hard drive. They have lower rotational speed (5400rmp). If you want performance, go with WD black (7200rpm).

Better solution: SSD for OS (fast boot), and large drive that is 7200rpm for you apps, games, etc.

I have 150GB WD raptor (10,000rpm) for OS and apps, and the rest on 1TB drive.
