Ok following the template...

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: (ASAP)
BUDGET RANGE: (example: US$600 - $800 +-)

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: (#1 GAMING , Maya, PS, Video Editing, etc)

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: (keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS,)

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: (newegg.com)

PARTS PREFERENCES: by brand or type (I would like to use an Intel CPU but people in another forum suggest an AMD CPU (from the reviews it looks like intel is a better choice?)

OVERCLOCKING:Maybe
SLI OR CROSSFIRE:Maybe

MONITOR RESOLUTION: (right now 1280x1024)

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: (just need a pc that will play games like crysis,(on high or at least decent settings), cod 5, etc and new and upcoming games without having to do another upgrade to soon)

Thank you

if you are overclocking a little, you might want to put in a thermal compound ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... ) or if you are really overclocking, an after market cpu cooler
