I have the GV-NX96T1GHP which is Gigabyte's version of the GeForce 9600 GT. I went to check for driver/bios updates and the web site says they have "rev 2.0" and "rev 3.0". How do I tell which revision I have?

I tried asking Gigabyte tech support. Ha! No luck there.

Download and run GPUZ, it should tell you the revision number, top right hand corner of the 'graphics card' tab.

Thanks for the tip. It says the GPU revision is "A1", which is neither the 2.0 nor 3.0 listed on the Gigabyte site. Perhaps the card revision numbers are different from the GPU revision number?

OK, that was the easy way: Now try taking the card out and looking at the circuit board, the revision number surely must be there!

I had the same question and contacted Gigabyte tech support. They say the revision numbers are region specific. Rev2.0 is for the US. Rev3.0 is for some other region such as Asia.

Does anyone have a different understanding?
