"0x80070057" error. I was simply trying to copy a folder or group of files to another hard drive.
Hard drive to Hard drive, no SSD or External was involved.

Any solutions to this issue?

It literally refuses the copying to be performed ...

I'm trying to copy folders/files from a Seagate SATA II 320 GB Hard Drive to a newer Western Digital SATA II 1 TB Hard Drive.

thanks

p.s., using Windows 7 x64 bit

When I try scandisk/error-checking in win #7 I get the following error message.

"The disk check could not be performed because windows can't access the disk"

And the same error for all 3 hard drives and 1 SSD drive.

I have to do a full reboot for this error to correct but still cannot perform the check disk.??

Eventually I was able to ScanDisk both drives and no errors were found, in fact no errors on any drive at all.

Anyone can chime in ??

I'm so lost--> :cry: :pt1cable:
