Should I overclock this system?

Hey all I don't really know too much about overclocking, but I was wondering if it would be worth my time at this point to give it a try, for gaming purposes.
Also, do I have any bottlenecks that need fixing?

cpu: amd phenom II x4 955 3.2 ghz black edition
gpu: ati radeon hd 4830
ram: 4gb
motherboard: asus M4A78T-E
hdd: 1.5tb wd15EARS
550 watt power supply

I would why not have free performance increase ?

I would push that 4830 a little to or replace it

More specifically I'm worried about my psu, which is a BFG 550w gs, and from what I hear it isn't exactly all that amazing.
I may be wrong but will it have enough power?

yea for 1 video card not 2

all systems have supported, if you want to overclock you can try it, remember not to overload and note the temperature did not overclock using the stock cooling.

let me clarify what i said earlier i think 550 watt is cutting it close for 2 gpu's.

wow, this is pretty comprehensive, thanks a lot.

After I put all my numbers in I figured that I'll have enough power, if just barely.
Besides, I've been overclocking all day, and no crashes yet.
