Hi guyz..I just want to ask about something i don't understand..
.I have an AMD Phenom II x4 940 processor (running @ 3.38GHZ)..I think the normal speed i got it is [ 4 x 3.38 GH = 13.52 GHZ or near it] and correct me if i'm wrong..when i have tested my system componets by a tool called www.systemrequirementslab.com , i use it to test my pc is able to run a specific game or not..it's useful btw..I found it told me that my processor performance rated at " 8.61 GHZ" !!!! when i run the test on GRID racing game..and games like it..
Is it a normal performance rating for my processor or there's something wrong ??
I have
Windows Vista Ultimate x64 SP2
Nvidia Geforce 8200 motherboard
4GB of DDR 2 ram
8600 GT with 512 DDR2 dedicated graphics memory on it
note: the motherboard supports processor till 95 W .. this processor is 125 W but it runs fine is that is the problem or what?
PLZ HELP GUYZ...THX

What do you need explained? The website extrapolates the PR rating used by Athlons with other CPUs, as the "CPU Speed" requirement listed in game requirements is still usually for a Pentium IV CPU. Also, I think it only uses up to two cores to calculate the rating; you're CPU would provide about that gaming performance of an 8.61gHz Pentium IV.
