Is there a tape mod for any I7 i cant find anything on that. i got a 920

I did some digging and from what I can tell you can't perform BSEL mods on i7s. It makes sense because i7s don't have an FSB, just a BCLK.

9000PC: If you want to overclock your CPU just go into your BIOS and increase your BCLK.
 
I don't think the OP understands the i7 architecture. Since there's no northbridge chip, because the memory controller is integrated onto the CPU die, there is no way to independently adjust the memory controller's clock. No tape job of any sort is going to enable that.

Base clock (BCLK) overclocking is all that's available.

The QPI Link Data Rate can possibly be adjusted.

I dont have a northbridge ? i really feel dum i dident know that.... However i knew i cant independently change the ram thats why i want 2000mhz ram...
