for some reason when i'm scrolling in firefox with my G9 it will randomly open the window i was scrolling in in a new firefox window and remove the tab from the original window. i've installed all the software correctly and even reinstalled both firefox and the logitech software but the same thing happens. any thoughts?

This occasionally happens to me too. It only happens when I'm using the left click on the tabs and accidentally drag the tab a little bit though, causing FF to open it in it's own window, iirc.

You might check to see what your middle mouse button is assigned to in case you are accidentally clicking it, and where your mouse pointer is at the time.
