Hey guys new to forums :) so expect nub questions coming your way

Alright basically i have a Q8200 and for some reason bios sais 30c but speedfan and basically any other monitoring app sais my cpu is actually on 50c (idle) [With 2400rpm fan asus silent knight]

Now also speedfan core temp real temp etc all on also say that core 0# is running at 58c while all my other 3 cores are on 38c (20c difference =.=)

re sat heatsink taken cpu out and re put in motherboard basically its not the cooler im considering somethings broken

So let me know what you think :) Dud senser i heard that speedfan and core temp and real temp can sometimes be off by 20c
(if i minus that 20c i get the bios temps and right core temps as well)

So whats broken here my bios, speedfan, realtemp, coretemp, or is it my cpu :) let me know thanks guys :bounce:

I think you have a stuck sensor.

Max out the CPU get full load temps... this usualy "unstucks" the sensor.
