Ati hd 3400

I don't really know what forum this belongs in but here it goes.

I have a Dell Studio 1357 with ATI HD 3400 Series onboard video.

Everything was running flawlessly until I plugged in an external monitor.

Now I get an OpenGL error every time I try to play RTCW.

Any ideas?

Hmm yes I've already tried that.

I've been reading and searching all damn day for a solution to this and I've tried everything short of reinstalling Vista.

I've read that OpenGL doesn't like dual monitors. I had an external monitor plugged yesterday and when I unplugged it, that's when everything went haywire.

NOTE: The game runs fine when I have the CD in but my saved games aren't there. I've been playing w/out the cd this whole time. No cracks... the cd just normally isn't required to run the game.

It's when I remove the CD I get an OpenGL error.

I don't get it. It worked 100% just yesterday.
