Hey,
if a power supply says it's SLI capable, does that mean it would also support a Crossfire configuration?

it says NVIDIA™ SLI™ - ready certified

and then further down: Supports dual GPUs and dual/quad core CPUs

Not very specific...

Shouldn't be much different, though, right?

Maybe it's Crossfire capable, just not Crossfire certified like Nvidia is?

Also keep in mind that just because it says SLI capbable doesn't mean you can throw reason out the window. 550W isn't nearly enough to SLI 2 GTX280 cards. Rather then look at marketing terms, figure out how much you need, and how much you have. Its not so confusing after that.
