Got a new cooler wondering if my temps are good

I got a Cooler Master Hyper 212 plus to put on my i5 760.

And was wondering if the temps i am getting are good?

Idle
Core
0 -25c
1-26c
2-25c
3-27c

while playing a a game for a hour or so
core
0-42c
1-37c
2-34c
3-36c

are these good number to be getting?

depends on your ambient room temp, and a game doesn't stress a CPU like Prime95 large ffts or LinX or Intel Burn Test try one of those to get a real load temp

Your cpu will never stress as hard as prime 95 so if u can pass prime with under 80 then your all set.
As your tems read so far you have no problem whatsoever, as your max temp is about 80

If it idles in the 20s and games in the 30s/40s your cooler is doing fine. Those are great temps.

As you can see from my build, the cheap $17 92mm Rosewill keeps my Phenom ii x4 @ 3600mhz around 55 degrees prime95, in a 75+ degree fahrenheit room. Give you an idea on performance per dollar for your cooler. It idles about 35 degrees depending on my rooms temperature.

Anytime you can keep your cpu bellow 50 degrees celsius with current manufacturing and moderate voltages, no worries!

I must say this CPU cooler is an absolute surprise. I did much research on all the mainstream and popular CPU coolers out there to see which ones work best for i7's (LGA 1366). Yes, your tempearture is fine.
