Hi Guys,

I've been deliberating over these 3 pre-built systems...searching a lot on the web but still can't come to a conclusion which is better.

1) Core2Duo E7500 2.93Ghz
MSI P43 Neo3-F Motherboard

MSI 9600GT 512Mb HDMI
3D Sound onboard
10/100 Lan onboard
Kingston DDR2 800 2gb
Hitachi 500GB Sata2
LG Sata 22 DVD-RW
Case + Gigabyte PSU 420W

$740

2)AM2 Athlon X2 - 785Z 2.8Ghz
MSI K9A2-CF-F AMD790 Motherboard

MSI 9600GT 512Mb HDMI
3D Sound onboard
10/100 Lan onboard
Kingston DDR2 800 2gb
Hitachi 500GB Sata2
LG Sata 22 DVD-RW
Case + Gigabyte PSU 420W

$663

3)AM3 Phenom2 X3 710 2.6Ghz
Biostar TA790GX3 A3+ AMD790 Motherboard

3D VGA - share memory
3D Sound onboard
10/100 Lan onboard
Kingston DDR3-1333 2gb
Hitachi 500GB Sata2
LG Sata 22 DVD-RW
Case + Gigabyte PSU 420W

$593

I know here is for CPU and components, but my question here is just about the 3 different cpu and e respective motherboard. My usage is more for internet, work (lots of programs/windows to be opened at same time..programs like matlab, java, etc) and games like Football Manager type...maybe sports games like Winning Eleven as well.
Sincerely seeking advice on which is better to be purchased! Thanks!

Due to your system use, I would recommend as many cores as you can afford. A core2 quad would be great!

Have a look at this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115055
It's an Intel Q8200, the cheapest quad by Intel.
Specs:
45nm
95W TDP
2.66ghz (That's per core)
$159.99, not much more than your other suggestion.

It will work with your current motherboard, too.

Another suggestion, you may want to upgrade to 4gb of ram. But you will also have to get a 64 bit operating system.
