Audio to Text Conversion Software

I am trying to find software that converts audio from a digital recorder to text.

I wonder if the software Dragon will work.

instate of using a Mic to speak into, connect the headset output of the digital recorder to the Mic input on the computer.

this could work but I never tried it

Did your receive any responces? I've been looking for this for a while. All I can come up with is Dagron Naturally Speaking (11.5 home/premium) NOT free. AND as I understand it you can't transcribe from saved files. I'm need ing help fast as I need to get 20 hours of dictated speech to the printers in 2 weeks! Help
