get my security key or passphrase for my router i lost the cd

You don't need the CD except perhaps for the manual on it. Instead refer to instructions that came with the router or download the manual.

It should tell you how to address the router's setup screens via your browser by connecting the computer to router by ethernet cable.

Once in go Wireless Setting, Wireless Security and note the passphrase (or if unreadable create a new passphrase).

Apply passphrase to the user interface for your wireless adapter (or in Windows Wireless Networking). Disconnect ethernet cable.
