I had a pipe leak that dripped onto my laptop key board. I let it dry out,now it asks me to boot up but when I do it sends me a sequence of beeps 1-4-1 Does anyone know what this means?

check you user manual they are all different

What model laptop ?

But im pretty sure that motherboard is dead : did the laptop freeze or shutdown when it happened ?

Yes the motherboard did get fried.
