Using a 8800GTS 512 as a PhysX card

Hi all,

I have recently installed 2 x GTX 260 (216) Graphics Cards in SLI mode and have now got a spare 8800GTS 512 (infact I have 2 as I was running these in SLI mode originally) Graphics Card spare. I was wondering if it was possible to install the 8800 as a primary PhysX card? I have read some articles about doing this and they seem to have mixed opinions. I have an ASUS Striker II Formula MOBO so I do have a spare PCI-E slot that I could install it in.

My question is......is it possible to use this card as a PhysX card and if so how would I go about doing it? Would it be a matter of just plugging the thing into the slot without the bridge and letting the computer do the rest or will I have to configure things, if so what? Would there be an advantage to running things this way?

Many thanks in advance

Stick card in spare slot, then fire up NV control panel and enable Physx from there.
