Yeah....how exciting. I'm sure you guys get a load of this kinda threads lol

Casing: Antec 900 Case - Glass side w/ 2 blue neons and a *** load of fans and LEDs (quite riced up haha)
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 - 3.0 GHz per core
Memory: 2 GB DDR2 800 Corsair RAM - 2x1024 - 4-4-4-12 timing
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP35C-DS3R
Hard Drive: 870 GB Hard drive (320 Sata +300 WD3000 Corviar IDE)

Power Supply Unit: RP-500-PCAR

COOLER MASTER eXtreme RP-500-PCAR 500W ATX12V V2.01 Power Supply

I'm not an over clocker kinda guy. I play GTA IV occasionally, usually do a lotta heavy photoshop stuff. Will I be able to run an ATI HD4870x2 2GB safely in this setup? What is the worst case scenario if I run it, and things go wrong?

Thanks.

you should check the required specs for psu on a 4870x2 card If you have the card try it who know worst that could happen is it wont work but it won't break it

That is a mediocre quality, underpowered psu for your system. Worst case, and likely case, is that the psu fries and kills your entire system with it. Get a quality psu 650W or higher psu such as Corsair, PCP&C, Seasonic, etc
