You mean, a secondary drive, or you want to replace the system drive?

Laptop a great canidate for an SSD.
Specs show two HHDs.
What I'd do is buy a Vertex-2, or a Phoenix pro (recommend the 120 Gig drive).
Remove BOTH HDDs, install SSD and instal your operating system +programs on the SSD. When done, reinstall your HDD in the 2nd HHD slot for YOUR data and files.

were you able to do this? i have the x505 q888 that also has two HD spots. But one of the spots doesn't have a protective sleave and all of the SSD i look at including the 830 Samsung SSD that i bought do not have the sleave. It will be too loose without it. did yours come with two sleaves?
