How can i short out the bios on a compaq presario v3000 laptop? I've tried what the manual said to no avail and removing the rtc batterdid no good. Does anyone know what pins to jump to clear the bios?

According to HP the only way to fix the issue is to replace the motherboard, if any one knows any other tricks please let me know, Thanks
