Okay, so I have this 1TB Iomega drive connected to one pc and its been shared so the other 2 pcs could access it. I have had no problems with this whatsoever. Well, not long ago I replaced that one machine with a newer machine which had a username and password to logon whereas the others do not. This was not a problem, I just had to supply the username password to access that machine. My wife thought this to be too troublesome and had me remove the username password from that machine and now, no matter how many times I make a new network and reboot all of the machines, I am stilled asked for a username and password to access that machine. What is THAT all about???

Start the pc on safe mode, delete all users from the HDD that you have shared and recreate...
