Hi,

I use my PC as a Gaming Server and for Gaming.
I have DSL with speeds of 8Mbits download and 1Mbits upload.
The NIC i have is the integrated one on the Gigabyte X48-DS5.
For a switch, im just using the the 4 port switch on the Linksys WRT110.

So would upgrading to a hi performance switch help my ping and loss rates and speeds?
Or would it be better to upgrade to like a Gaming NIC?

I don't think either upgrade will improve anything much.
The DSL speed is much less than your local network speed.
So the DSL is your bottleneck, as it is for most of us.
