ACER Travelmate 2312NLCi_L Display

Hello,
My ACER Travelmate 2312NLCi_L has a problem with its monitor. The display become blurred at times. It started about 3 months back. initially it was giving trouble only in the starting. later it slowly increased and the right display is possible ony with certain positions of the monitor or by pressing a corner of the laptop base. it seems to be a loose connection somewhere inside. but now it is almost unusable as I get the right display onl if I am lucky.
I am writing it from the same notebook.
Can anyone suggest if I can do something myselff? it is 3 yr old notebook.
