Hi,

I am trying to get my new Striker II Extreme to recognise two Corsair TW3X4G1600C9D memory modules. Whenever I have both plugged in the system hangs at Det Dram during POST. The BIOS is 1203. I have set the memory timings to 9-9-9-24 2T and upped the memory voltage to 1.8V. Everything else is set to default.

Whith one memory module installed the system is OK. I have exchanged the memory but no improvement.

I have tried using the blue slots and the white slots to no avail.

The Corsair website says that the memory is compatible but I can't get it to work.

Has anyone got any ideas please?

Yes it's compatible. Are you OC your Processor or are you on auto for memory and CPU?

Set your memory to 1.82v and your NB to 1.44v.

Update.

I was only ever able to get one stick of the Corsair TW3X4G1600C9D to pass POST. I decided to return it and go for the slightly slower Corsair TW3X4G13333C9A modules. I know they are slightly slower but I saw a review of the motherboard which reported them as being plug and go.

Well I am pleased to report they are indeed plug and go and the system seems stable.

Thanks very much for everyones replies, much appreciated.
