Hello everyone,

Please forgive me if this is an ignorant question, as I'm new to all of this.

I just bought and set up a new Lynksis wireless router. The WLAN is up, and my notebook has no problem connecting to the network, and accessing the internet. My desktop is connected via ethernet to the router. I have internet access on the desktop, but am unable to find my laptop on the network. The laptop, running Vista 64, is set to discoverable mode. The desktop, running XP, is (as best as I can tell) set up for file sharing, etc -- as many options as I could enable to try to get them to find one another.

What should I do from here? Thank you!
