You didn't leave a link for the ram, I hope this stuff runs less then 1.65v(?) I also would have gone with a bigger hdd. 320GBs is nothing, the 640s are nice. (quite fast as well.) Other then those two things, its personal choice. I hope you have a 64 bit version of windows? Only way you'll be able to use that 6GBs.

the ram runs @ 1.65v....it's an OC-Z gold not platinum but it will do the job. i'm using the 320 gig since it's cheap and good. with 16mb cache it will do many tasks pretty quick. HD are not a problem for me since i'll grab a 1tb down the road. and the OS i'm running will be vista ultimate 64bit.

Bingo Micheal.....I am thinking of going Win 7 64 bit when it hits....and giving my Vista 64 to my son, he has 8 gigs of ddr2 ram he can't use it all for Win Vista 32 bit.

I've already downloaded the Windows 7 64bit RC from Microsoft. I'm not too sure if I should load that one up, since it may have some bugs. But I've heard many positive things about it so I'll look into it. What do you think?

Man, I haven't downloaded it yet....think I'm gonna wait for the Retail version. And then do a clean install and go from there. I hate having to rebuild my windows and I prefer a clean install. I might even wait a little while before I jump onto the bandwagon to watch and see if there are bugs in the Retail version. Hardware is my specialty....software is just the pain in the ass that runs on my hardware!! LOL I love to build computers, it usually the software that screws them up! LOL
