4 sticks in dual channel?

It comes in 2gb sticks. I want to have 8gb of RAM. I have an 1155 MSI P67A-GD55 motherboard running an Intel 2500K @ 4.3GHz. If I get 4 sticks of this 2gb RAM (8gb total), will they run in dual channel? What will dual channel get me?

As long as you have one set of four matching sticks, or two sets of two matching sticks, it will operate in dual-channel.

For instance, I run a 2x4GB kit and a 2x2GB kit (12GB total) in dual-channel on my ASRock P67 Pro3 board.

As long as you fill each channel with the same capacity, yes. For mine, I have 2GB sticks in the last slot of each channel and 4GB sticks in the first slot of each channel. It works out to 6GB per channel.

A diagram:

Slot 1 (closest to CPU): 4GB (first slot of channel 1)
Slot 2: 2GB (last slot of channel 1)
Slot 3: 4GB (first slot of channel 2)
Slot 4: 2GB (last slot of channel 2)
