Memory stick wont work

My memory stick stopped working probablt a week ago. When i insert it and click on its icon it says " insert disk in drive F:" (or what ever drive i inserted it in) the same message apears when i try to format it or explore it or anything! it is sooo annoying ![:fou:]( ":fou:")
it does the same thing on any other computer i try no matter what the OS. although one time i kept changing the ports frequently even re entering into the same port and by luck and a message came on saying i should format disk before using! but then th computer froze and i had to restart and then the "insert disk in drive F:" message came again![:cry:]( ":cry:")
what shud i doo!!
