Specs are AMD Athlon II X2 2.70GHz, 4GB RAM, windows 7 64 bit. Not sure if i should overclock or not, not getting the fps out of my 5770 that i wanted and not sure what else to do. thanks
Yes you should overclock assuming you have a good motherboard to do so. Even with stock cooling you should be able to squeeze some extra performance out of that CPU.
you should do overvlock to compensateHD 5770 graphics capabilities, it is advisable to use Good CPU Cooler not cooling Stock, if using stock cooling the CPU speed will not go far because of the heat.
if you don't want overclock the system will bottleneck.
