I have read that the more ram the better in Win7. So should I upgrade to this ram
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820231195
or just get 4gig of the same ram, or get another 4 gig of the Corsair 800mhz ram I already have.
Will the faster ram benefit me for overclocking or does that not matter.(I could not get a stable 4ghz overclock)
help much appreciated.

The higher end RAM would give you more overclocking room but not by much. Adding more RAM wouldn't do very much for you at all unless you work with RAM intensive apps like 3D modeling.

Save the money and work on getting a better GPU. That's about the best option I can see taking with the configuration you have already.

I have a hd4870 right now, i would like to improve on that, cheapest option for best results would be another for crossfire, right. coz i think 4870x2 is better than 1 5850, if it's not better it's $150 cheaper.

Agreed. A second HD 4870 would definitely give you a big impact with a lower price.

What is your PSU? Need to make sure it can handle a second GPU sufficiently.
