xp boots late

hi

i have a problem with windows xp. when xp boots it gives a logo labeled
windows xp and an indicator goes severel times in small area ( the second
indicator after the long long screen wide white color strip in black screen)
just about 3 inches.When i first installed windows xp it happpend to animate
3 times then it would disapper and another screen would appear .. but now it
takes about 13 animations LOL .............how to get rid of this hell.. i
dont think i installed anyother softwars special other then the bootvis and
some windows updates i have uninstalled them but sitll the hell


i am running winodws xp pro on my PIII system with 800 MHz speed, 256 MB
RAM (one pc 100 slot and one pc 133 slot total = 256MB ). i converted the
drive during the setup to NTFS. any help please please greatly recomended..

ya i dont have the two 128 mb chips of matching speed one is 133 and the
other is 100 mhz. but this problem wwas before installing this new
chip.......................so at that time i had 128 mb pc 100 ram and it
workd fine later it started this trouble probably after instlaling teh
uptadtes or microsoft bootvis...........but uninstalled both still have the
same problem

i have mcafee 8 and pc cillin 2004 both updates just a fraction of a second
before each and every file scanned.........

no spyware using anti spyware also

so far the ram combination of 100 and 133 is working fine without any system
unstabiliy as i was told by many geeks

i am not running 2 antiviruss at the same time i just told u that i have
tried the latest an updated editions of both antiviruses now i am using just
one antivirus PC Cillin. so far other spy ware or adware are concerned i
have spy bot search and destroy it already destroyed them ???? memory OK
