The title pretty much sez it all. Is the AMD 7750 BE "kuma" any good. I thought it looked okay; it has l3 cache. Iwanna OC alittle and it needs to be very fast(not super speed, but fast). I am impatient., so fast is good.
Well, it depends on what you want to do. That's a good processor, but spend a little more and you'll get a little more.
I think for budget builds you can't go wrong with the X3 720BE ($120). It can be paried with ddr2 or ddr3 ram and at 2.8 Ghz its plenty fast even with no overclock. The extra core will be useful in current games.
The Kuma is ok, but AMD has better dual cores out now.
It's ok but for overclocking, I would suggest going with PII X2 550. It is also a BE and is much faster than 7750 even at stock. Plus it carries the features of the new PII cpus.
