it will work as long as your PSU can support the GTX 280, if it can't power it then you may be saying goodbye to your PC.

Hehehe... my psu using odin gt 800W and memory kingston 1066Mhz hyper-x... i prefer not sli the gc...just want to use single slot... how about performance? is it slower or better, or similiar performance?

Reply to adzim86

performance will be the same, and the PSU is overkill.

also you can't SLI with P45 boards.

if you haven't bought the '280 already then get a 4890 or 4870 X2, more bang for your buck.

What do u mean by PSU overkill? power is not sufficient? :o

Reply to adzim86

the PSU is overkill as in you could use a 550w version by the same company and it would still work.

and what about that product?

my 2nd choice is gigabye GA-EP45-UD3R ( http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Product [...] -EP45-UD3R )
is it ok? or other recomandation, i'm really apprieciate

Reply to adzim86

it's a good board, anything by Gigabyte is usually a good board.

ooo..realy? thank you... there is any problems to the graphic card if the psu rate is high? i mean the card is overheat/physical damage or more stability?

Reply to adzim86

no, it's just that efficiency will be lower on a higher wattage PSU, but only by a couple of percent.

cpu intel q6660... mayb want to upgrade to q9xxx.. is it good?

Reply to adzim86

the Q6600 is old tech, I didn't even know you could get them anymore.

get a phenom II 940 and a 790GX motherboard, it will be quicker and cost about the same.
