Yes, i just wanted to know if theres anything i'll have to do to switch my mobo and processor, ive switched mobos and stuff but not processor, anything i should do? do i need to format my OS drive or will it be fine the way it is? thanx!

You'll need the following.

New Memory
New CPU
New Motherboard

You should do a clean install after installing those items as well.

You would need to do a clean install of your OS. That should be pretty much what you'd need to do. I have tried repairing an install of WinXP when I changed the mobo and processor, and honestly I wish I didn't. It was detecting the old hardware config on some of my apps, and it generally feels "dirty". :D

Clean install is better option.... but you know if you are really brave you can use the new kit with your old install of windows. However you need to remvoe the drivers for your mobo before starting the upgrade.

Even then there might be some issues.....

ps, i really dont think that cooler'd fit in my scout case it looks huge!
