PCI-E Question

Hi all!

I just bought a new gfx card, gtx260, and it requires 2x6-pin pci-e. My old gfx only needed one. My power supply is a hiper type-r 680w with 4 rails. On one rail there is a 6pin & 8pin pcie - should I use an adaptor to convert the 8pin to 6pin and use that single rail to power the card, or should I use a seperate rail with a molex-pci adaptor hence having two rails power the card?

Do not use the adapter, no card manufacturer will actually recommend uisng the adaptor even though they include it with the card. Use the cable with the 6 pin and the 8 pin and use the 6 pin plug.
